California Health Education Framework

The Health Education Framework for California Public Schools, Kindergarten Through Grade Twelve​, which is guided by the health education standards, is intended to assist elementary teachers, secondary health education teachers, administrators, school nurses, school counselors, Local Educational Agency (LEA), and district personnel in developing programs that educate, influence, and inspire California’s children to learn, adapt, and maintain positive health practices throughout their lives.

The newly adopted Health Education Framework for California Public Schools, Kindergarten through Grade Twelve is currently being edited for publication; however, the content has been finalized and can be accessed on the California Department of Education website.
